Valerie Barnes -- Cinematographer, Editor + Executive Producer and Co-Creator of SKIN

Valerie's work has appeared on A&E, HLNtv, Fox Entertainment, Discovery Channel, PBS and MSNBC.  Her films have also been included in museum and gallery exhibits such as The Chelsea Museum, and The City Museum of New York. They have also been screened at The Desert Museum in Palm Springs, and AIA in NYC.  Her video collaboration with Mihoko Suzuki titled "Jessica Finds Her Way" was included in the 24th Instants Video Festival held in Marseilles in 2011 and in the Int'l Art Expo held in Venice in 2013. In August 2013, she collaborated with Julia Knight and Kimia Rahgozar on "Passerby", a a multi-media exhibit held at Etemad Gallery in Tehran.  Most recently, her cinematography work on Jil Guyon’s “Widow” + "Desert Widow" was selected for numerous film festivals including Lincoln Center’s Dance On Camera 2014 Festival and Tour, Cine Dance, Quebec City (2015) and Women & Fashion Film, NYC (2015).  "Widow" won awards for Best Experimental Film and Best Short Film from the La Jolla Indie Film Festival.  She holds a BS in Music Education from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh PA.

Julia Knight -- Writer, Actress + Executive Producer and Co-Creator of SKIN

Julia has an extensive background in Theatre, TV and Film and has done over 70 TV commercials.  Her television work has included appearances on Law & Order SVU (NBC), The View (CBS), Body and Soul (PBS) and All My Children.  Voice-over Campaigns for TV include: TJ Max, Toys R US, Radio Spots for Oasis Day Spa, Xerox and multiple Industrials. Most recently, she served as a panelist on 2 seasons of "Coffee Shop Confessions" on the popular Cafe Mom social network site for mothers.  As part of a collaboration with Valerie Barnes and Kimia Rahgozar, Julia also performed, wrote poetry and text for "Passerby" a multi-media exhibit held in August at Etemad Gallery in Tehran.  She holds a BFA in Drama from University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

Timothy Cramer -- Sound Designer + Installation Designer for SKIN

Tim has been involved in the architectural as well as exhibit design fields where he has created interactive music and education exhibits for several Northeast museums and historical institutions.  Completed projects include an extensive interactive audio & video installation for the Children's Museum of Manhattan's "Eat Sleep, Play"; sound design for "After 911"; and for tv commercials including Dell Computers, Coca-Cola, Dentine Ice and Bacardi Rum.  Tim was also commissioned to design an exhibit for New York City's Children's Museum.  "Hello Japan" premiered in January 2015 and is currently traveling throughout the United States.

Kimia Rahgozar -- Photographer + Contributing Artist to SKIN

Kimia's work has been shown in numerous galleries across the world including Canada, Dubai, England, Iran and Turkey.  Her solo exhibitions include: Photosophy, a performance in Etemad Gallery (Tehran), Bronx Documentary Center + Leica Gallery (New York),

You (Mekic Art Gallery - Montreal),  Group Exhibits include: Iran Contemporary (1x1 Gallery, Dubai);  She has also been invited to lecture and present Photosophy at Boston College (2013) and NYCAMS (2011).  Most recently, she collaborated with Valerie Barnes and Julia Knight on "Passerby", a multi-media exhibit recently held in Etemad Gallery, Tehran.  Kimia holds a BSc degree in Electronic Engineering from Azad University, Tehran, and is a member of IRAN.AIPA and CAPA (Canadian Art Photographers Association).
